The story of Flossie’s starts with the passion for art and illustration. Stephanie Marsh, (AKA Flossie) business owner and creative director of Flossie’s Weddings and Occasions, devoted her time to her university studies with the goal of becoming an art therapist to help others learn to express themselves and communicate through the methods of creativity and imagination.

 

After being asked to provide wedding invites for a friend, Flossie was then recommended to other future newlyweds…which later would lead to the birth of Flossie’s Weddings and Occasions.

 

Designing stationery in her bedroom, Flossie had several requests whether she would also help dress weddings with smaller details such as chair dressings and table runners. Willing to help where she could, Flossie agreed to the demands of the couple and purchased items available to hire, which would be prepped, set up and removed by Steph on her own.

 

Going from stationery in her bedroom, to renting out small sheds and now to large units which expands the range of services that Flossie’s can offer. Creating a huge showroom with a team behind her, Flossie has turned her dreams into a reality…

Onto the next chapter of our story… the Flossie’s team are thrilled to have recently announced our brand new showroom opening in February 2024!! Allowing us to display more of our stock, helping customers to visualise and imagine how items and designs will look for their event, promoting our recommended suppliers in the wedding industry, and highlighting the team’s unity with an open-plan layout where flowers, stationery, prepping bays and showroom are all available to view as soon as you enter our styling headquarters!

 

So many ideas and plans for the future… this is only the beginning!
